Dave Vanz, the principle founder who developed the concept for DetroitCity.com, has been working with web development since 2001 when he started Real Focus Media out of Rochester, MI.

Inspired by his desire to see the Metro Detroit area expand, both socially and economically, Dave had a vision of creating a media that could effectively bring Metro Detroit together to fulfill the true power of its potential

Dave established DetroitCity.com, a website geared towards Everyone, regardless of race, religion, or social status, to spur a new generation of "Detroit Innovators" and young professionals ready to use their unique resources to write a new chapter and create a new legacy for the City.
